If you don't follow Caroline Myss, this is a great time to start.

Like most of us in the spiritual community (especially those of us who make our living as teachers, healers and psychics) most of what she shares is positive and uplifting with a dash of marketing, but she recently shared her thoughts on the current political climate and while she mentioned no names, she was not shy.

Naturally she was attacked for getting political. I was struck by two responses she gave to that attack: "Speaking up is not being "political"; it is an act of conscience."

"What is the role of a spiritual teacher if not to alert people that we are traveling into dangerous water."

Those of us who are spiritual teachers and speakers of Truth owe it to ourselves and the world to speak out when we see Fear and Pain exploited for political and monetary gain. Any political leader who uses fear to further thier career and financial interests does not deserve your patronage. Anyone who tells you to give up faith, love and hope if you want to be safe is promoting darkness and anyone who tell you that "They" are not like "Us" and must be excluded and driven from our shores (whoever the hell "They" are) is wrong and acting against the forces of Love.

Love is the antidote to far and hatred. Reject those who tell you to hate and embrace those who speak of love.

As I continue the ever-evolving re-write of my psychic development manual, I'm adding a section on different types of divination and the ways your physical brain processes the non-physical information provided by psychic abilities.
Sounds dry, yes? NOT AT ALL!
For everyone out there complaining about the current rise angel/fairy/unicorn/dragon/pixie readers and talking about how old school and normal your style is; Remember, not very long ago in human history the most respected form of divination was haruspication - the slaughter of animals and inspection of their entrails. If we still did that these days most psychics would have to give up the purple velvet and flowing capes for rubber gloves and aprons.

After many months of work Great Conjunction is now a 501c3 non-profit! With our new designation we are forming the Great Conjunction Spiritual Center with psychic fairs, lectures and workshops. We are also raising money for a permanent home for Great Conjunction, a center where we can hold yoga classes, retreats and all sorts of spiritually based programing.

I am absolutely over the moon. For years I have worked to bring healing, light and energy through my readings, lectures and classes – and I love what I do and I am extremely proud of what I have been able to accomplish and the people I have been able to help. Still, I dreamt of a place were people could come together for deep spiritual work and healing with a diverse group of teachers and light workers. When I shared that dream with Joe he dove right in, bringing a drive and focus that has just been inspiring. We started with the psychic fairs and are building momentum as we share learning and light throughout northeast Ohio.

I don't know how long I have known Alice Langholt, the creator of Practical Reiki, but I remember my first impressions:

It was at the Universal Light Expo and she was this short, spunky ball of energy who bounced up to me and started talking about energy. She was insightful, witty and had a strong moral code that impressed me. This was just about the time Reiki was going mainstream and I was inundated by "fakie reiki" people trying to sell Reiki in a thousand different ways. At first I was skeptical about her premise - Reiki simplified, but the more I talked to her and looked into her materials the more I was impressed by what she had achieved. She had distilled Reiki down to its basics and tailored it to the mainstream health care industry.

For a long time it seemed like it was just going to be Alice against the world, but then she did it again when she started teaching others, not only how to practice this simplified Reiki, but how to teach it themselves. Alice has gone to a better place (a very nice home in Maryland), but her best and brightest student is still here.

When Joe and I first met he had never studied Reiki, but he had been fascinated for years and dove in like a dolphin to the ocean. Studying Usui Reiki, Pranic Healing, Practical Reiki and diving deeply into energy medicine. I have watched his expanding knowledge and talent with awe and pride over these last few years and I am so very excited that he has begun teaching.

When I introduced him to Alice I had no idea what it would become, but his first Practical Reiki class starts March 19th.

I am incredibly impressed by the thoroughness of his preparations and planning for these classes, building on the foundation Alice laid out. I can say with certainty that this training will be life-changing.

Practical Reiki Workshop

Whether you are new to energy work, or a seasoned professional, Practical Reiki will empower and strengthen your connection to healing energy.
