On October 15th I returned to the AC and Kelly Hot 101 morning show for the fifth time.  Once again I was able to get the audio for you.  I put all the clips in one file to cut down on site clutter.

There was one clip that got cut off or something and most of it got lost.  I edited it out, but I wanted to share with you what we talked about.  A woman called asking about her baby.  She and her husband had been trying for a while with no success. Treatments and Doctors where doing what they could but she was afraid it would never happen.

So often couples get carried away with the idea of making a baby... like they were trying to assemble a particularly difficult set of Ikea shelves.  Like if we just try hard enough and maybe read the instructions or call tech support we can get it done.  All the joy drains from the experience and so often the hopeful parents loose sight of the real goal - a bringing a perfect soul into the world.  A new life and a new being to join their family and the world.

I know there are mechanics and hormones and often lots of money involved, but a new child should be about love and hope for the future and you should never loose sight of the goal - making a place and opening the way for the soul who belongs with you.

It's not that easy being green;SparklesOnTheWater
Spend each day surrounded by the color of the leaves.

That’s the way it seems most people feel.  How horrible to see nothing but relentless greens and browns when they think it would be nicer seeing red or yellow or gold...
or something much more colorful like that.
But That's not me.  I remember as a childe taking long walks in the surrounding woods.  Exploring the rippling streams and bosky groves of Macachee.  I remember groves of pine and waving fields of pampas grass.  I remeber hidden groves you could believe no one had ever seen before.  And I remember seeing the lush growth marred and sullied by trash, tracks and human remains.

It's not easy being green.
It seems you blend in with so trash2many other ord'nary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
or stars in the sky.

No, the things that stand out in the woods are the things  that aren't natural – old Coke bottles, RC cans and plastic in every color of the rainbow.  Natural dams clogged with blue barrels, rubber balls and a million flecks of styrofome – the new color of the woods.

MushroomSkyBut green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain,
or tall like a tree.

Who defends the green?  Who loves the green?  We started walking with trash bags instead of walking sticks, gathering the flashy sparkes and reds and golds.  Taking the trash away from the woods

Cuz green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why?

Why would anyone spoil this?  How can you walk in this beauty and drop your refuse?  I understand the need to leave a mark, but if your mark, what you choose to remain and represent you when you are gone is an empty can of Red Bull, what are you but emptiness?  I
Wonder, am I green I know it’s  fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.
